For those not in favor of homeopathy, you can use essential oils :
During the 3 days preceding the race apply 1 drop of each oil locally by massage around the umbilical area and the stomach.
You may also drink them in a small glass of water : 3 drops once a day, and if you have difficulty adapting to the Moroccan cuisine both morning and night.
Advice : If it is the first time you use essential lemon oil, test your lemon tolerance and drink 2 drops of oil in a small glass of water.Generally, all forms of digestive prevention are beneficial: if the more conventional treatments suit you well – e.g., allopathic drugs – don’t change ! It’s better to stick to a method that works for you, than to change to a method you have never tested…
It would be a shame to drop out due to a Moroccan diarrhea!!
Final advice: Remember to drink salty – with moderation – to avoid dehydration during the race.
Try out dehydration solutions prior to the race on distances of min. 15 kms.
